Philosophy of Learning

Developing a personal philosophy of learning for administrators can be a challenge, but should be done to provide a solid focus of expectations for yourself. It is important to expose students to new information that can potentially improve their experiences in life by expanding their way of critically thinking about the world around them. It is important to help students develop the skills to learn in structured and unstructured environments. It is important to help students develop general skills and support them through classroom instruction and learning.

The first test is knowing what you want, knowing your abilities and capacities, and recognizing the difference between the two. Warren Bennis
